Black Bears had their opportunities to win in their tournament debut but converted just 27% of their shots at goal while failing to convert on any of their three penalty shot attempts. Julian de Lusarreta and Charlie Hanbury combined for five of the six goals for Hurlingham 1875 (Henbury Polo/Noon Giraffe) to lead their attack, while they solved their early shooting struggles in the final chukka, receiving goals from Hanbury and Hugo Taylor to capture the 6-4 victory.
