Facing a 7.5-1 deficit, Bardon Polo Team scored five consecutive goals to pull within one but ultimately came up half a goal short in the 7.5-7 defeat on the Ambersham 3 field.
Hurlingham 1875 (Henbury Polo/Noon Giraffe) raced out of the gate scoring five goals in the first chukka with all four players adding their name to the scoresheet. Hugo Taylor led the way with three goals as Hurlingham 1875 (Henbury Polo/Noon Giraffe) built a large lead by outshooting Bardon Polo Team 8-2 in the first two chukkas. Foul trouble allowed Bardon Polo Team to fight their way back into the game, receiving two penalty goals from Isidro Strada to cut the lead to 1.5 setting up a thrilling conclusion. Poroto Cambiaso assisted on both Bardon Polo Team field goals in the final chukker, but his team fell just short as Alfonso Pieres scored the winning goal to secure the 7.5-7 victory.
